Boston IVF is Hiring a Laboratory Technician Near Waltham, MA

Endocrine Laboratory Technologist/Technician

We have an immediate opening in our Waltham Center Endocrine Laboratory

Full-time 40-hour position, 9:00am to 5:00pm that includes one weekend per month and a holiday rotation.

All applicants should be a MT/CLS (ASCP) or MLT/CLT (ASCP) and are enthusiastic, finds enjoyment in the medical technology profession and working in the growing field of fertility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Adhere to quality control and quality assurance protocols; maintaining the highest standards in laboratory practices
  • Receive and process patient blood specimens
  • Conduct precise and accurate laboratory testing to ensure appropriate patient treatment
  • Perform daily / weekly analyzer maintenance
  • Adhere to CAP and ISO requirements
  • Comply with established health and safety standards

Requirements include but are not limited to:

  • MT (ASCP) or MLT (ASCP) preferred. Willing to train new science graduates
  • Experience with a Roche platform analyzer is a plus but not required
  • Effective communication skills and positive attitude
  • Must be detail oriented and possess required organization skills
  • Possess a passion for patient care
  • Ability to work independently as well as with other team members in a fast-paced environment
  • Flu Vaccinations required for employment
